The purpose of this Website is to offer to individuals, clubs, organisations (hereinafter the "Orgas"), private tools to support various type of esports competitions, and allows users to consult results of such competitions.
3. Intellectual property rights
The Website is owned by Moderators. The Website, including (but not limited to) text, content, software, video, music, sound, graphics, photographs, illustrations, artwork, photographs, names, logos, trademarks, service marks and other material ("Content") is protected by copyrights, trade marks and/or other proprietary rights.Orgas and registered players, can decorate their regattas or player pages with additional images and information, its their responsabilities to respect any third party rights and laws. Usage of their login password, implies his/her approval and acceptance to the following terms of use.
Moderators will promptly remove any content that is signaled by a documented rights claim or valid takedown notice.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Moderators will not be held liable for any damages whatsoever as may arise from logging on to this Website. Website reserves the right to modify, suspend or even interrupt the display of all or any part of this Website.Website and Moderators cannot be held liable for (i) any imprecision, inaccuracy by the tool provided on the Website; (ii) any damage resulting from fraudulent intrusion by a third party; (iii) more generally, any damage, direct or indirect, regardless of its cause, origin, nature or consequences, whether it be the result of (a) access or inability to access the Website, (b) the use of the Website, including any damage or virus which may infect your computer system, and/or (c) credit given to any information provided directly or indirectly by the Website.

5. Privacy Policy & Personal Data (GDPR)
5.1 Data Controller
The data controller is the team of Moderators of www.sailranks.com, contactable via form or email provided in section 1.5.2 Data Minimisation Principle
The Website collects and processes as little personal data as possible. Where feasible, data is anonymised or pseudonymised. No personal data is shared with any third party for commercial purposes.5.3 Data Processed and Legal Basis
The Website processes the following categories of personal data:- Pseudonyms / gamer usernames - Legal basis: Legitimate interest (displaying competition results); necessary for the performance of the service.
- Optional profile information voluntarily added by players (e.g. name, bio, photos) - Legal basis: Consent of the data subject (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). By adding this information, the user acknowledges it will be publicly available and may be indexed by third-party search engines.
- Information added by Orgas to other players' profiles - Legal basis: Consent of the affected player, which must be obtained in writing by the Orga prior to any publication. Orgas bear sole responsibility for obtaining and retaining evidence of this consent. Moderators can not be held liable for any damages that may arise from such Orgas actions, and Moderators will remove any content that is signaled by a documented rights claim or valid takedown notice.
- Contact form data (name, email, message) - Legal basis: Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). This data is used solely to respond to the request and is not retained beyond what is necessary.
- Technical/server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) - Legal basis: Legitimate interest (Website security and performance monitoring). This data is not used to identify individual users.
5.4 Data Retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected:- Account and profile data: retained for the duration of the user's registration, and deleted within 30 days of account deletion or upon request.
- Contact form data: deleted within 90 days of the request being resolved.
- Server logs: retained for a maximum of 12 months for security purposes.
